After a defensive mix-up in PSI Timbuni's zone, Tintus Sucipto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Imran Suryatna came out of the goal and Tintus Sucipto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, PSI Timbuni's Derry Juanda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Uu Sungkar. Uu Sungkar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ramang Patha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Imran Suryatna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Imran Suryatna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tintus Sucipto, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Tintus Sucipto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, PSI Timbuni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eet Soekarno to maneuver through the defense. Putra Japara's Ramang Patha got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tintus Sucipto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Putra Japara's Tintus Sucipto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Imran Suryatna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After having played for 46 minutes, Tintus Sucipto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Putra Japara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tintus Sucipto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramang Patha in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Imran Suryatna saved PSI Timbuni from getting behind. A collision led to PSI Timbuni getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bono Witoelar hit a great ball. Ramang Patha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ramang Patha was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Putra Japara's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Imran Suryatna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tintus Sucipto in the 76th minute. Tintus Sucipto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 78th playminute. 82 minutes into the game, Putra Japara's Tintus Sucipto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Imran Suryatna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Tintus Kalangi scored 2-5 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uu Sungkar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Tintus Kalangi managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSI Timbuni's supporters rose to their feet, but Tintus Kalangi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uu Sungkar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 played minutes Putra Japara got a freekick which was hit by Fachri Salampessy. In the 97th minute Tintus Kalangi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uu Sungkar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Putra Japara's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
