Leubumasid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daeng Karepouan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Parto Musadeq ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zulfadli Arnawa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 28 played minutes Leubumasid got a freekick which was hit by Bulek Aritonang. When Syahlan Dion came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mogol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Syahlan Dion couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, one of Mogol FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mogol FC. The wind increased when Parto Musadeq made the kick off in the second half. Daeng Karepouan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Zulfadli Arnawa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leubumasid's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 78th minute, Parto Musadeq fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zulfadli Arnawa, passed just outside the right post. After 88 minutes, Ferdy Suarlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mogol FC and the Leubumasid players grew even worse after the yellow card.
