Ian Sonneville scored 0-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Icut Siahaan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Tirtajaya made a kick off. PSP Janada's Christian Tirtajaya got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Tirtajaya struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Icut Siahaan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSP Janada. In the 71st minute Ringgo Supriatna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gungun Wijanarko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Anas Effendy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuryono Suryoprayogo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gungun Wijanarko having to interfere. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PSP Janada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
