Bujang Ardikusumah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marzuki Tanzier went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 9 minutes, Eeng Supardi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kassian's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eeng Supardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dewa Barkawi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akri Burhanuddin in the 12th minute of the match. If Akri Burhanuddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Eeng Supardi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dewa Barkawi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kassian's Bujang Ardikusumah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marzuki Tanzier in the 29th minute of play. Butet Ibrahim charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Butet Ibrahim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Kassian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Butet Ibrahim to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Kassian getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Butet Ibrahim hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Eeng Supardi in the 41st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Akri Burhanuddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dewa Barkawi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eeng Supardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Penyampak's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Panda Pambudi was slow to take the kick. During this time Kassian's players had a chance to rest. Kassian's Panda Pambudi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dewa Barkawi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
In the 56th match minute, Penyampak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makfi Sihombing to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Kassian's Panda Pambudi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Primus Prima came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Penyampak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primus Prima couldn't finish the play. Bujang Ardikusumah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marzuki Tanzier, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 88 played minutes, Kassian's Panda Pambudi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dewa Barkawi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kassian reached it. In the 90th minute Primus Prima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bujang Ardikusumah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd play minute Eeng Supardi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dewa Barkawi. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kassian had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
