Avanti Dewantara started the match with the kick off. Selutjing FC's Gandung Mahing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Selutjing FC from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute Avanti Dewantara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gandung Mahing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selutjing FC's Gandung Mahing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avanti Dewantara in the 11th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Rudi Tanjung got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, PSS Candihowo's Hendra Handoko got a free kick in the 24th minute. Selutjing FC's Komang Witoelar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PSS Candihowo. Rudi Tanjung struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Agung De Weerd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selutjing FC. The referee gave Selutjing FC a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Komang Witoelar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PSS Candihowo's Agung De Weerd. 0-3. If Rudi Tanjung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. PSS Candihowo's Agung De Weerd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faisal Goeslaw in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Rudi Tanjung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 played minutes Selutjing FC got a freekick which was hit by Dindin Karo-karo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 58th minute of the match Anton Danurwindo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gandung Mahing skillfully saved the ball. After 58 played minutes Selutjing FC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Hartono. Rudi Tanjung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Agung De Weerd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faisal Goeslaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agung De Weerd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faisal Goeslaw in the 94th minute of the match. Igus Hasudungan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The PSS Candihowo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Selutjing FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
