The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Hendra Lasut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hendra Lasut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Nurdin Wibisono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Samiaji scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ori Supriatna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jay Adnyana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jay Adnyana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hendra Lasut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nurdin Wibisono having to interfere. In the 29th minute Jay Adnyana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ori Supriatna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Samiaji in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ori Supriatna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nurdin Wibisono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catur Baso in the 34th minute of the match. Sampand's Catur Baso got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Hendra Lasut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nurdin Wibisono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendra Lasut in the 44th minute of play. Sampand's Catur Baso got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sampand players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Baramai FC were winning 0-2.

Baramai FC's Emil Sastranegara got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When M. Andik Papilaya fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sampand's protests and gave M. Andik Papilaya a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 54 minutes, Harseno Lumbanraja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baramai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harseno Lumbanraja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Baramai FC booed when Sampand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aan Mahayasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harseno Lumbanraja, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 67 played minutes Sampand got a freekick which was hit by Arya Suryatna. If Jay Adnyana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Arya Suryatna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sampand's zone, Jay Adnyana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ori Supriatna came out of the goal and Jay Adnyana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ori Supriatna was a little too slow when Damian Samiaji got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-3. When Baramai FC's Jay Adnyana in 79 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ori Supriatna guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 83rd minute Catur Baso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurdin Wibisono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jay Adnyana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ori Supriatna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Samiaji in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Damian Samiaji shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ori Supriatna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baramai FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
