When Bagol Sunarya fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sungaldokol FC's protests and gave Bagol Sunarya a yellow card for diving instead. Ponirin Muharam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusli Suebu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 7 minutes, Rusli Suebu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sungaldokol FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rusli Suebu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 8 played minutes Putra Babaoe got a freekick which was hit by Rebiyana Irwansyah. 9 minutes into the match, Putra Babaoe's goal looked a bit too open when Rusli Suebu came free, but Ponirin Muharam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Sihite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ade Kusumah in the 14th minute of the match. Sandy Wijoyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Kevin Sihite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 61st minute Yustedjo Darussalam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponirin Muharam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sungaldokol FC defense, Ade Kusumah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Sihite. The Sungaldokol FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Sihite should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute of the match Sungaldokol FC got a corner. Putra Babaoe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fajar Sitompul ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Fajar Sitompul almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Putra Babaoe's Ponirin Muharam did a great save. Sungaldokol FC's Kevin Sihite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandy Wijoyo in the 73rd minute of play. If Rusli Suebu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sungaldokol FC booed when Putra Babaoe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ojat Zubir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ade Kusumah hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Sungaldokol FC's Marzuki Sihaloho in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Sandy Wijoyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sungaldokol FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Putra Babaoe had controlled the match.
