In the 32nd match minute, Pangkajasan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuntet Mangkudikusumah to maneuver through the defense. Yaya Aritonang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasino Soedomo in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes in the game, Theo Krishna fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ida Bagus Indrajit having to interfere. Theo Krishna was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Pangkajasan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daffa Tirtajaya was the one to do the kick off. Daffa Tirtajaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yaya Aritonang having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julianda Prayogo in the 55th minute of play forced Genoek FC's goalkeeper Ida Bagus Indrajit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
