When Paijo Bachtiar fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pekadjan FC's protests and gave Paijo Bachtiar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pekadjan FC's Paijo Bachtiar got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Dimas Wirahadikusumah came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Purusdjuwet fans jumped to their feet. Martinus Haryono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Pekadjan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mamiek Martanegara came free, but Martinus Haryono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Kevin Rusandi managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Pekadjan FC's Noce Yulianto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kevin Rusandi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Ashraff in the 22nd minute of play. Kevin Rusandi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noce Yulianto in the 26th minute. Jamal Wijatmiko hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Dimas Wirahadikusumah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pekadjan FC's goalkeeper Martinus Haryono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Purusdjuwet's goalkeeper Kevin Rusandi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noce Yulianto.

The wind increased when Mamiek Martanegara made the kick off in the second half. If Mamiek Martanegara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Dimas Wirahadikusumah dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martinus Haryono, 1-2. Martinus Haryono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mamiek Martanegara in the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Niki Ashraff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Rusandi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Martinus Haryono successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pekadjan FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jamal Wijatmiko was slow to take the kick. During this time Purusdjuwet's players had a chance to rest. Jamal Wijatmiko made a great header on Purusdjuwet's corner, it was just that Pekadjan FC's Martinus Haryono managed to reach the ball for a save.
