Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Buyung Waskito in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tonton Ardikusumah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oddie Djarot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hadiman Novitraldi kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Ikhsan Tirtajaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tonton Ardikusumah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tonton Ardikusumah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ikhsan Tirtajaya went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Virgiawan Maruanaya made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Felix Santosa sent off a good shot on target. Virgiawan Maruanaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oddie Djarot in the 31st minute of play. Ikhsan Tirtajaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tonton Ardikusumah having to interfere. The referee gave Setedung a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Samuel Laturua, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PSB Mentjeng's Tonton Ardikusumah. 0-2. After the first half Setedung were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in PSB Mentjeng's zone, Buyung Waskito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tonton Ardikusumah came out of the goal and Buyung Waskito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ikhsan Tirtajaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, PSB Mentjeng's John Hatala got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Hadiman Novitraldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of PSB Mentjeng booed when Setedung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ikin Muntu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tonton Ardikusumah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ikhsan Tirtajaya in the 71st minute. Virgiawan Maruanaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hadiman Novitraldi in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Setedung's goal looked a bit too open when Arya Rumba came free, but Virgiawan Maruanaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Ikhsan Tirtajaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tonton Ardikusumah. PSB Mentjeng's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ikhsan Tirtajaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 94 minutes into the match, Arya Rumba notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Setedung's Virgiawan Maruanaya. Virgiawan Maruanaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Setedung eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
