Thomas Tualasamony sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fitrah Mandagi was a little too slow when Thomas Tualasamony got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Fitrah Mandagi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Usep Pravita in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Novri Barenz in the 27th minute of play forced PSM Malabar's goalkeeper Adi Laksono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PS Bangsal's Fitrah Mandagi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Tualasamony in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind PS Bangsal's goalkeeper Fitrah Mandagi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Usep Pravita in the 58th minute of play forced PS Bangsal's goalkeeper Fitrah Mandagi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fitrah Mandagi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Usep Pravita in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Novri Barenz got free with Adi Laksono in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adi Laksono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Idrus Sutarman's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute Thomas Tualasamony shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fitrah Mandagi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in PSM Malabar's zone, Idrus Sutarman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adi Laksono came out of the goal and Idrus Sutarman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Idrus Sutarman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Adi Laksono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Novri Barenz got free with Adi Laksono in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. PSM Malabar's Adi Laksono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idrus Sutarman in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to PS Bangsal getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Piet Marasabessy hit a great ball. When Zulkifli Tobing came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the PSM Malabar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zulkifli Tobing couldn't finish the play. The PS Bangsal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
