The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Iqbal Ardiwilaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Ortizan Al-Faruqi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Sungkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Iqbal Ardiwilaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The goalkeeper, Eep Sugandi, was totally fooled by Siengur's Wahab Sapulette, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Aziz Sungkar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Putra Singabraja's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Sungkar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ortizan Al-Faruqi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Siengur's goal looked a bit too open when Salim Khaidir came free, but Ortizan Al-Faruqi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salim Khaidir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ortizan Al-Faruqi having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rahmad Manaf was the one to do the kick off. Rahmad Manaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Achmad Hadinata came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Siengur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achmad Hadinata couldn't finish the play. If Rahmad Manaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wawan Latupono blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eep Sugandi having to make a save. A collision led to Putra Singabraja getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jontar Leimena hit a great ball. If Rahmad Manaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iman Sagala hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Rahmad Manaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ortizan Al-Faruqi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aziz Sungkar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Putra Singabraja's Aziz Sungkar got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Putra Singabraja's Aziz Sungkar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ortizan Al-Faruqi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Siengur's goalkeeper Ortizan Al-Faruqi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salim Khaidir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahmad Manaf in the 87th minute of play forced Putra Singabraja's goalkeeper Eep Sugandi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aziz Sungkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Aziz Sungkar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Putra Singabraja players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Siengur.
