The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rendy Muttaqien struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Fitrah Ohee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gardu FC. After 6 played minutes Bobopayo FC got a freekick which was hit by Husin Sudarmaji. After recieving a nice pass, Gardu FC's Gendo Purba tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Gardu FC got a freekick which was hit by Gendo Purba. In the 15th minute Parlin Yulianto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fitrah Ohee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karel Tampubolon kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Rendy Muttaqien scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fitrah Ohee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute, Tono Putro made a precise shot to the right of Nurdin Sutarya. Gardu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Gardu FC's zone, Arjuna Sudaryanto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nurdin Sutarya came out of the goal and Arjuna Sudaryanto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes, Christopher Aswatama mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gardu FC and the Bobopayo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gardu FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Arjuna Sudaryanto scored to the left of an out of position Nurdin Sutarya, making the score, 2-1. Parlin Yulianto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fitrah Ohee having to make a save. Fitrah Ohee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rendy Muttaqien, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Parlin Yulianto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fitrah Ohee having to interfere. Rendy Muttaqien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fitrah Ohee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rendy Muttaqien came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Gardu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rendy Muttaqien couldn't finish the play. If Rendy Muttaqien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Gardu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arjuna Sudaryanto came free, but Nurdin Sutarya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nurdin Sutarya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arjuna Sudaryanto in the 81st minute of the match. Gardu FC's Nurdin Sutarya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arjuna Sudaryanto in the 82nd minute of play.
