After a rather tough play, Ratai's Ujang Latuperisa got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pontjolutan's zone, Aples Garmana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trisna Rondonuwu came out of the goal and Aples Garmana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aples Garmana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Trisna Rondonuwu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Trisna Rondonuwu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismed Ballawi in the 9th minute of the match. If Ismed Ballawi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ratai's Kosin Sandiaji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anzarra Sangaji in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ratai's goal looked a bit too open when Rasyid Butar-butar came free, but Kosin Sandiaji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kosin Sandiaji showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anzarra Sangaji in the 21st minute of the match. Ujang Karimudin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trisna Rondonuwu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismed Ballawi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes, Winarto Monginsidi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pontjolutan and the Ratai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ratai's Aep Saiman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Trisna Rondonuwu but with some difficulty. Anzarra Sangaji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kosin Sandiaji having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Ratai getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Aep Saiman hit a great ball. Ratai's Kosin Sandiaji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anzarra Sangaji in the 69th minute of play. Anzarra Sangaji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kosin Sandiaji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aples Garmana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trisna Rondonuwu having to interfere. When Pontjolutan's Anzarra Sangaji in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
