The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bakae FC were furious when Imam Pelangi was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 3 minutes into the game, one of Bakae FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Cibetah getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Marcel Pangalila hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Jehad Hutapea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fahmi Ismayana hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Tino Sutarya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abu Rinaldi in the 26th minute of play. Abu Rinaldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juliadi Karo-karo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Aples Mantra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ruslan Supardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruslan Supardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Genta Gumulya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cibetah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bakae FC the free kick. In the 47th minute, Genta Gumulya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruslan Supardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Cibetah were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruslan Supardi to make the kick off. Bakae FC's Tino Sutarya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Bakae FC from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Bakae FC's goalkeeper Tino Sutarya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abu Rinaldi. Abu Rinaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tino Sutarya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. M. Sobar Ginanjar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abu Rinaldi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cibetah walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
