Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andre Faturrahman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Andre Faturrahman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Katon Pinontoan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PSM Lageuen's Katon Pinontoan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Faturrahman in the 13th minute of play. The PSS Maboi fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when PSS Maboi's Andre Faturrahman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andre Faturrahman's late challenge caught a PSM Lageuen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andre Faturrahman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Andre Faturrahman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PSM Lageuen's Otong Betay got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Djaduk Nurpijal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldi Asmara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otong Betay in the 25th minute of play. Katon Pinontoan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Faturrahman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Otong Betay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldi Asmara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of PSS Maboi booed when PSM Lageuen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sukri Silaban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Djaduk Nurpijal charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Djaduk Nurpijal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, PSS Maboi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djaduk Nurpijal to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in PSS Maboi's zone, I Putu Himawan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldi Asmara came out of the goal and I Putu Himawan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 played minutes PSS Maboi got a freekick which was hit by Mansyur Marantika. In the 45th minute, Zainal Paat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 49th minute of the match Rizal Panggabean shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Katon Pinontoan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Zainal Paat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Zainal Paat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Arifin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Andre Faturrahman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. I Putu Himawan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Reynaldi Asmara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chairil Sugianto kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. I Putu Himawan scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldi Asmara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Zainal Paat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zainal Paat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zainal Paat fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSS Maboi's protests and gave Zainal Paat a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PSS Maboi's Zainal Paat got a free kick in the 94th minute. Itok Asmadirja hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. PSM Lageuen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
