Porman Permana's late challenge caught a PSP Ciheucip's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 35 minutes, Guntur Purba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 43rd minute, Porman Permana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Nafalo FC's zone, Awang Wattimena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruhut Nurwahid came out of the goal and Awang Wattimena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iswadi Raturandang was the one to do the kick off. PSP Ciheucip's Diki Hadiningrat got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iswadi Raturandang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Guntur Purba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
