Kia Alaydrus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meggy Rondonuwu having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Kia Alaydrus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kia Alaydrus charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kia Alaydrus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PSS Kesintoe booed when Kondemie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kia Alaydrus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Harahap took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Meggy Rondonuwu. PSS Kesintoe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ponirin Habib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aming Karisma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Eet Sutrisna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 36 minutes, Tri Sjahrir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSS Kesintoe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tri Sjahrir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PSS Kesintoe had played much better football throughout.
