The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nakula Juandi during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Mayau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nakula Juandi to maneuver through the defense. If Handoko Tirtajaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sadewa Rumba charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sadewa Rumba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Sadewa Rumba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernard Kili-kili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Handoko Tirtajaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Henry Zamani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Widhie Sudarno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Zamani in the 19th minute. Adjat Kapisa might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Widhie Sudarno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adjat Kapisa ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Belodo FC's Widhie Sudarno got control of the ball when Henry Zamani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eka Susanto struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Bernard Kili-kili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belodo FC. After 39 played minutes Mayau got a freekick which was hit by Adjat Kapisa. The supporters of Mayau booed when Belodo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nandang Effendy didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adjat Kapisa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Eza Atmadja fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belodo FC's protests and gave Eza Atmadja a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Eza Atmadja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Belodo FC's Eka Susanto got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Adjat Kapisa came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mayau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adjat Kapisa couldn't finish the play. Widhie Sudarno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Zamani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Belodo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eza Atmadja to maneuver through the defense. Mayau's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yudha Soekarno in the 63rd minute. Yudha Soekarno made a great header on Mayau's corner, it was just that Belodo FC's Widhie Sudarno managed to reach the ball for a save. Bernard Kili-kili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eza Atmadja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Kili-kili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Belodo FC's Yustedjo Taufiqurrahman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernard Kili-kili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adjat Kapisa in the 84th minute of play forced Belodo FC's goalkeeper Widhie Sudarno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Zamani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Widhie Sudarno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Zamani might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Widhie Sudarno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henry Zamani ran back to his position shaking his head. Yustedjo Taufiqurrahman came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bernard Kili-kili could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Belodo FC's Handoko Tirtajaya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernard Kili-kili. That made the score 0-1 after 91 minutes of play. The Belodo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
