In the 2nd match minute, PSS Patja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Widhie Ashraff to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Gumulya in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wempy Hartono prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, Marundapulo's goalkeeper Sapardi Tuanakota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Entong Sanusi. Entong Sanusi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sapardi Tuanakota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sapardi Tuanakota made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Entong Sanusi sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Engkos Kuswanto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Hidayat kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marundapulo's goalkeeper Sapardi Tuanakota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Max Mega kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Wempy Hartono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Gumulya, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Entong Sanusi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Marundapulo's goal looked a bit too open when Odoy Simatupang came free, but Sapardi Tuanakota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Entong Sanusi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sapardi Tuanakota having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Odoy Simatupang to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Marundapulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Hidayat to maneuver through the defense. Bagol Akmal's late challenge caught a Marundapulo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bagol Akmal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to PSS Patja getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bagol Akmal hit a great ball. Wempy Hartono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Gumulya, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Odoy Simatupang kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Entong Sanusi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 72 played minutes PSS Patja got a freekick which was hit by Batara Barkawi. 78 minutes into the match, PSS Patja's goalkeeper Wempy Hartono had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hendrik Rizaldi. After 90 minutes of play PSS Patja's Bagol Akmal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marundapulo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PSS Patja.
