The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stefan Simbara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odoy Simatupang, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Wempy Hartono was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Sahat Gustomi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sahat Gustomi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Wempy Hartono made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Lukman Cundaya sent off a good shot on target. Lukman Cundaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wempy Hartono having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Sahat Gustomi put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wempy Hartono. 26 minutes into the match, Sahat Gustomi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wempy Hartono. PSS Patja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sahat Gustomi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Entong Sanusi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Stefan Simbara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Odoy Simatupang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the match, Cianyar FC's Sahat Gustomi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wempy Hartono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The PSS Patja fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when PSS Patja's Entong Sanusi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wempy Hartono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sahat Gustomi in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, PSS Patja's goal looked a bit too open when Sahat Gustomi came free, but Wempy Hartono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Odoy Simatupang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Simbara having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Sahat Gustomi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Wempy Hartono was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute Lukman Cundaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wempy Hartono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Sahat Gustomi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cianyar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sahat Gustomi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Odoy Simatupang struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Stefan Simbara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSS Patja. Cianyar FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of PSS Patja for a fine match.
