Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) PSS Unggae's Muchlas Nyakmad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Genta Suarlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yusuf Pitoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. M. Sobar Yudiawan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. M. Sobar Yudiawan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Muchlas Nyakmad's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pompowai's zone, Muchlas Nyakmad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. M. Sobar Yudiawan came out of the goal and Muchlas Nyakmad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diding Batubara got free with M. Sobar Yudiawan in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in PSS Unggae's zone, Felix Sutikno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Sungkawa came out of the goal and Felix Sutikno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Felix Sutikno came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Pompowai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Sutikno couldn't finish the play. Daniel Sungkawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genta Suarlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Felix Sutikno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Daniel Sungkawa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Ijong Wahono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSS Unggae and the Pompowai players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PSS Unggae's Ijong Wahono got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sakti Silaban hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Muchlas Nyakmad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. M. Sobar Yudiawan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muchlas Nyakmad in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Sutikno in the 44th minute of play forced PSS Unggae's goalkeeper Daniel Sungkawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PSS Unggae's Daniel Sungkawa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genta Suarlan in the 48th minute of play.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muchlas Nyakmad in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg M. Sobar Yudiawan saved Pompowai from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Sakti Silaban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muchlas Nyakmad in the 68th minute of play forced Pompowai's goalkeeper M. Sobar Yudiawan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muchlas Nyakmad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. M. Sobar Yudiawan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Genta Suarlan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Daniel Sungkawa, passed just outside the right post. In the 80th match minute, Pompowai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yosef Pangaribuan to maneuver through the defense. Rinto Julianto missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 82 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the M. Sobar Yudiawan right hand side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
