After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, John Kartasasmita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kadukacang FC's supporters rose to their feet, but John Kartasasmita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ijong Purbaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Primus Rungkat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ijong Purbaya was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Kadukacang FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Yustedjo Arwana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Widianto having to interfere. Yustedjo Arwana struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Roman Widianto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PS Gadel. Ijong Purbaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawa Hasanuddin in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawa Hasanuddin in the 83rd minute of play forced PS Gadel's goalkeeper Ijong Purbaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Widianto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yustedjo Arwana, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Roman Widianto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yustedjo Arwana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Yoga Kurnaedi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Yustedjo Arwana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PS Gadel were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
