Teten Roekito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Syahlan Utomo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goenoeng's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adang Mantra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Adang Mantra came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Goenoeng fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adang Mantra couldn't finish the play. After having played for 29 minutes, Butet Pandiangan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tegawanu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Butet Pandiangan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tegawanu FC's Butet Pandiangan got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Butet Pandiangan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teten Roekito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Sumardi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, Tegawanu FC's goalkeeper Jimmy Sumardi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adang Mantra. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ponirin Tampubolon was the one to do the kick off. Jimmy Sumardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adang Mantra in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, Tegawanu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ayi Haryono to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ponirin Tampubolon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goenoeng's supporters rose to their feet, but Ponirin Tampubolon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Sumardi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Syahlan Utomo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Syahlan Utomo in the 61st minute of play forced Goenoeng's goalkeeper Teten Roekito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tata Pusaka's late challenge caught a Tegawanu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tata Pusaka helped the player get up and apologised. Tata Pusaka hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Aam Yarangga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tegawanu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aam Yarangga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teten Roekito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Goenoeng getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cucu Karnawan hit a great ball. Jimmy Sumardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adang Mantra in the 83rd minute of play. Uum Radjasa charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uum Radjasa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86thth minute of the game Syahlan Utomo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goenoeng's Teten Roekito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ponirin Tampubolon sped through Tegawanu FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jimmy Sumardi. Jimmy Sumardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ponirin Tampubolon in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Goenoeng fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tegawanu FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
