Rasyid Yudhistira's late challenge caught a Goenoeng's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rasyid Yudhistira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Goenoeng booed when Ciburia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasyid Yudhistira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teten Roekito made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Nanang Arwana sent off a good shot on target. Ringgo Pramana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Teten Roekito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Ciburia's Ringgo Pramana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Adang Mantra took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anak Agung Soesilo. Anak Agung Soesilo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Ciburia defense, Adang Mantra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anak Agung Soesilo. The Ciburia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anak Agung Soesilo should have stopped the shot. Uum Radjasa charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uum Radjasa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Uum Radjasa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A hard shot by Endang Gustav from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Teten Roekito's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Nanang Arwana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Ringgo Pramana got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot 34 in the game by Nanang Arwana from a close distance when the talented Teten Roekito managed to make a qualified save. Goenoeng's players were relieved. 36 minutes into the match, Ciburia's Nanang Arwana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teten Roekito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teten Roekito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ringgo Pramana in the 37th minute of play. Adang Mantra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anak Agung Soesilo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ponirin Tampubolon in the 40th minute of play forced Ciburia's goalkeeper Anak Agung Soesilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adang Mantra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anak Agung Soesilo having to interfere. Anak Agung Soesilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adang Mantra, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ponirin Tampubolon made a kick off. Adang Mantra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Anak Agung Soesilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Ringgo Pramana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciburia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ringgo Pramana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Ponirin Tampubolon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anak Agung Soesilo, 1-3. Anak Agung Soesilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponirin Tampubolon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anak Agung Soesilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ponirin Tampubolon, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Ponirin Tampubolon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Ringgo Pramana came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ciburia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ringgo Pramana couldn't finish the play. If Ringgo Pramana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
