After having played for 20 minutes, Syahlan Utomo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tegawanu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Syahlan Utomo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fedro Sulistianto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Butet Pandiangan in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igus Manusama in the 29th minute of play forced Tegawanu FC's goalkeeper Jimmy Sumardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igus Manusama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Sumardi having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Butet Pandiangan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedro Sulistianto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Tegawanu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igus Manusama came free, but Jimmy Sumardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Syahlan Utomo might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fedro Sulistianto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Syahlan Utomo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Syahlan Utomo in the 46th minute of play forced Kasian FC's goalkeeper Fedro Sulistianto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Abdi Hadinata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute, Syahlan Utomo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igus Manusama was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Tegawanu FC booed when Kasian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdi Hadinata didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Butet Pandiangan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Tegawanu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artha Fachrurozi came free, but Jimmy Sumardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tegawanu FC's Syahlan Utomo in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kasian FC's goalie prevented a goal. Abdi Hadinata hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Hendra Kusumo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jimmy Sumardi. Tegawanu FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Butet Pandiangan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedro Sulistianto having to interfere. The Tegawanu FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Tegawanu FC's Butet Pandiangan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Butet Pandiangan came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Tegawanu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Butet Pandiangan couldn't finish the play. If Igus Manusama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
