Jaya Mega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yudi Sulistyono struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Buyung Gustav didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ranjeng. A hard shot by Aep Setiadi from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Eka Novianto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Barnabas Mandaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eka Novianto having to interfere. In the 26th minute Jaya Mega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buyung Gustav saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaya Mega to make the kick off. Eka Novianto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eka Novianto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabas Mandaga in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ranjeng's Dodo Kartiwa got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jaya Mega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Luthfi Pulalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ranjeng's Eka Novianto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luthfi Pulalo in the 98th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
