Wurong's Komang Wattimena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eros Saragih in the 6th minute of play. Eros Saragih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Komang Wattimena having to interfere. Eros Saragih scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Komang Wattimena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nakula Revaldy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Komang Guntara made a huge save. Jontar Sobarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Komang Guntara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Wurong defense, Entis Wattimena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Komang Wattimena. The Wurong fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Komang Wattimena should have stopped the shot. When Wurong's Jontar Sobarna in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PSP Tatermaar's goalie prevented a goal. Nakula Revaldy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Jontar Sobarna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Komang Guntara. Jontar Sobarna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jontar Sobarna was the one to do the kick off. When Max Ekodono fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wurong's protests and gave Max Ekodono a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Max Ekodono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ibnu Kamandanu, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Wurong's Komang Wattimena got control of the ball when Eros Saragih tried to sneak it across the goal line.
