If Budi Piliang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eri Martanegara during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Budi Piliang's late challenge caught a PSI Tjibuah's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Budi Piliang helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Saneplom FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Budi Piliang to maneuver through the defense. Kunto Sutrisna's late challenge caught a PSI Tjibuah's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kunto Sutrisna helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Saneplom FC got a freekick which was hit by Kunto Sutrisna. If Hendratmo Lesmana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute of the match, Hendratmo Lesmana got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sopian Sudarmaji was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Hendratmo Lesmana took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sopian Sudarmaji to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute, Christopher Noya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Napitupulu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Husin Febrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Budi Piliang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, PSI Tjibuah's Honestra Pelangi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sopian Sudarmaji. Sopian Sudarmaji yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 44 minutes into the game, Budi Piliang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Husin Febrian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Budi Piliang was the one to do the kick off. Saneplom FC's Sopian Sudarmaji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honestra Pelangi in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, PSI Tjibuah's Honestra Pelangi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sopian Sudarmaji narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Saneplom FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hendratmo Lesmana came free, but Sopian Sudarmaji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Napitupulu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Husin Febrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Saneplom FC defense, Hendratmo Lesmana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sopian Sudarmaji. The Saneplom FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sopian Sudarmaji should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Eri Martanegara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Saneplom FC's zone, Hendratmo Lesmana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sopian Sudarmaji came out of the goal and Hendratmo Lesmana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 minutes, Bento Pritama mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saneplom FC and the PSI Tjibuah players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bento Pritama hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd match minute, Saneplom FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eri Martanegara to maneuver through the defense. PSI Tjibuah's Mathias Tobing couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Saneplom FC. Stefan Napitupulu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Honestra Pelangi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sopian Sudarmaji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaf Sujatmiko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sopian Sudarmaji. Saneplom FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Honestra Pelangi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PSI Tjibuah fans cheered their team off the field, for while Saneplom FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
