The crowd rose to their feet as Putra Puncakgaru's Ismed Zamzam slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edyana Rais. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. In the 22nd minute, Muchlas Antono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ismed Zamzam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holin Sulistianto in the 29th minute of play forced Putra Puncakgaru's goalkeeper Francis Panggabean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Putra Puncakgaru's Firman Makariem got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Leo Maulana, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 38 minutes, Ilham Panjaitan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Putra Puncakgaru and the Pertjoet FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Putra Puncakgaru got a freekick which was hit by Firman Makariem. Francis Panggabean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holin Sulistianto, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Holin Sulistianto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Holin Sulistianto was the one to do the kick off. Pertjoet FC's Edyana Rais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by April Giroth in the 58th minute of play. Holin Sulistianto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismed Zamzam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edyana Rais having to interfere. Muchlas Antono struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Francis Panggabean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pertjoet FC. Krisna Mulyana kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Holin Sulistianto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pertjoet FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Holin Sulistianto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, April Giroth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 88th minute, Ismed Zamzam made a precise shot to the right of Edyana Rais. Pertjoet FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Francis Panggabean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muchlas Antono in the 96th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Putra Puncakgaru's zone, Holin Sulistianto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Putra Puncakgaru's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
