Makfi Ballawi helped the player get up and apologised. Makfi Ballawi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Warsidi Pangalila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaf Hutagalung hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Aan Razak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Pattinasarani having to interfere. The supporters of PSP Banununggul booed when PSI Sepatin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stevanus Anggadiredja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achyar Marantika took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chris Pattinasarani. PSI Sepatin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Encas Al-Haddad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aan Razak came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the PSP Banununggul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aan Razak couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Chris Pattinasarani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zidan Purbaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in PSI Sepatin's zone, Aan Razak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chris Pattinasarani came out of the goal and Aan Razak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes PSI Sepatin got a freekick which was hit by Anton Sihite. After a defensive mix-up in PSI Sepatin's zone, Achyar Marantika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chris Pattinasarani came out of the goal and Achyar Marantika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaf Hutagalung charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaf Hutagalung the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, PSI Sepatin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Hutagalung to maneuver through the defense. Warsidi Pangalila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Malin Sutrisno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Warsidi Pangalila managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSI Sepatin's supporters rose to their feet, but Warsidi Pangalila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malin Sutrisno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zidan Purbaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. PSP Banununggul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSI Sepatin the free kick. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PSP Banununggul fans cheered their team off the field, for while PSI Sepatin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
