Ferdy Sunyoto guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 6 played minutes PSP Tatjim got a freekick which was hit by Encas Adrianto. Yanto Mahing hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Hesky Sentanu charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hesky Sentanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 18 minutes, Hesky Sentanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSP Tatjim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hesky Sentanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Ferdy Sunyoto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Hesky Sentanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdy Sunyoto was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Warudjang's Joshua Idris broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Martinus Makariem kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Slamet Suryatna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hesky Sentanu was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, PSP Tatjim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asdi Wiryawan to maneuver through the defense. After 53 minutes, Mahadi Probosutedjo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSP Tatjim and the Warudjang players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duloh Sianturi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daffa Hutabarat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceppy Surapradja having to interfere. Daffa Hutabarat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ceppy Surapradja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of PSP Tatjim booed when Warudjang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irfan Hendrawan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
