The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Maliba getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Mamiek Eibe hit a great ball. A collision led to Bedoegoei FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. M. Ichwan Lurahman hit a great ball. Henry Suebu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Henry Suebu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Bedoegoei FC's goalkeeper Alvin Julianto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Suebu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adi Sianturi in the 12th minute of play forced Bedoegoei FC's goalkeeper Alvin Julianto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Suebu's late challenge caught a Bedoegoei FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Suebu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Maliba's Henry Suebu got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Adi Sianturi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvin Julianto. The goal made the score 1-0. Aryo Eiboy hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Fuad Souisa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Osin Kamandanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Maliba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chandra Setiawan to maneuver through the defense. Yandi Kaban, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Maliba's Osin Kamandanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fuad Souisa in the 31st minute of play. If Fuad Souisa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adi Sianturi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Alvin Julianto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maliba. Bedoegoei FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adi Sianturi 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Fuad Souisa scored 2-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osin Kamandanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 48 minutes into the match, Bedoegoei FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adi Sianturi came free, but Alvin Julianto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adi Sianturi to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Henry Suebu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maliba's goalkeeper Osin Kamandanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gery Ibrahim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osin Kamandanu having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Adi Sianturi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvin Julianto was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Henry Suebu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Maliba booed when Bedoegoei FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arya Garmana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvin Julianto came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Maliba's Adi Sianturi. But to his dismay, Adi Sianturi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Osin Kamandanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gery Ibrahim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 84 minute of play. Osin Kamandanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gery Ibrahim, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Maliba defense, Fuad Souisa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osin Kamandanu. The Maliba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osin Kamandanu should have stopped the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
