Andri Kurnia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Engkos Afiff's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 26th minute Engkos Afiff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andri Kurnia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, PSM Toeder's Lexi Rahwana got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Welly Ardiansyah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Welly Ardiansyah might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andri Kurnia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Welly Ardiansyah ran back to his position shaking his head. Andri Kurnia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Engkos Afiff in the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Welly Ardiansyah to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Welly Ardiansyah reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andri Kurnia. The goal made the score 0-1. If Syauqi Mappanyukki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Syauqi Mappanyukki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hesky Tambunan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Syauqi Mappanyukki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 71 played minutes, PSM Toeder's Bimo Kawilarang shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hesky Tambunan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PSM Toeder reached it. 81 minutes into the match, Vemasse's goal looked a bit too open when Andra Abidin came free, but Hesky Tambunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vemasse's Welly Ardiansyah got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in PSM Toeder's zone, Warsidi Syahronie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andri Kurnia came out of the goal and Warsidi Syahronie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
