With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andri Kurnia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jahfal Simangunsong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Syauqi Mappanyukki, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Syauqi Mappanyukki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jahfal Simangunsong having to interfere. Andri Kurnia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anzarra Sungkono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Andra Abidin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, PSM Toeder's Jojo Cundaya got a free kick in the 36th minute. 37 minutes in the game, Ayat Katehokang fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Andri Kurnia having to interfere. Syauqi Mappanyukki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jahfal Simangunsong having to interfere. Ayat Katehokang was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, one of Sekru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sekru. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for PSM Toeder. Bimo Kawilarang stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jahfal Simangunsong. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Syauqi Mappanyukki made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andra Abidin got free with Jahfal Simangunsong in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Sekru booed when PSM Toeder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Syauqi Mappanyukki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andra Abidin in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Andri Kurnia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, PSM Toeder's goal looked a bit too open when Yanyan Supardi came free, but Andri Kurnia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The PSM Toeder supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PSM Toeder would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
