In the 10th match minute, PSI Pulogebong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eza Pattinasarani to maneuver through the defense. Novi Murtopo made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Yoga Pradnyana sent off a good shot on target. If Gandung Nyakmad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Hakim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gandung Nyakmad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steven Hakim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gandung Nyakmad, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. PSI Pulogebong's Novi Murtopo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save PSI Pulogebong from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, PSI Pulogebong's goalkeeper Novi Murtopo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mastur Wicaksono. With a little luck, PSI Pulogebong's Novi Murtopo got control of the ball when Yoga Pradnyana tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Hikmat Supriono fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSI Pulogebong's protests and gave Hikmat Supriono a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Hikmat Supriono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Yoga Pradnyana notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of PSI Pulogebong's Novi Murtopo. Novi Murtopo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Novi Murtopo managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when PSP Nangahale's Yoga Pradnyana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to PSI Pulogebong getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Julian Zumarnis hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gandung Nyakmad made a kick off. Ignatius Apriantara kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gandung Nyakmad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Steven Hakim. That made the score 1-2 in the 68 minute of play. Novi Murtopo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raden Sudarman in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Julian Zumarnis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PSI Pulogebong's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSP Nangahale the free kick. The supporters of PSP Nangahale booed when PSI Pulogebong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Zumarnis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yoga Pradnyana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PSI Pulogebong's Novi Murtopo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raden Sudarman in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th match minute, PSI Pulogebong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Zumarnis to maneuver through the defense. Yoga Pradnyana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Novi Murtopo having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PSI Pulogebong eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
