In the 22nd minute Henry Tarmadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darwin Marasabessy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darwin Marasabessy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aceng Raturandang in the 24th minute of play. Sukma Lengkong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Fance Korey made a huge save. The supporters of PS Pemangong booed when PSB Cendana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sayuti Hutajulu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sukma Lengkong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Tarmadi in the 33rd minute of play forced PS Pemangong's goalkeeper Darwin Marasabessy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ridwan Bangun in the 39th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aceng Raturandang was the one to do the kick off. Reza Garnita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sukma Lengkong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fance Korey having to interfere. Fance Korey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from M. Ridwan Bangun in the 58th minute of play. If Aceng Raturandang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darwin Marasabessy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aceng Raturandang in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Aceng Raturandang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darwin Marasabessy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sukma Lengkong fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PS Pemangong's protests and gave Sukma Lengkong a yellow card for diving instead. Darwin Marasabessy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aceng Raturandang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, PS Pemangong's Darwin Marasabessy got control of the ball when Henry Tarmadi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Reza Garnita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PS Pemangong's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSB Cendana the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, PS Pemangong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reza Garnita to maneuver through the defense. PS Pemangong's Darwin Marasabessy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Tarmadi in the 86th minute of play. M. Ridwan Bangun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fance Korey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If M. Ridwan Bangun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PS Pemangong had won after a very even match.
