Sonny Sudradjat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Effendy in the 16th minute of play. If Dwi Salisbury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adityo Irwansyah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aan Muntu having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, PS Setagin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jehad Eibe to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Aan Muntu managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when PSM Kalinda's Aries Andeas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hamka Habib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PS Setagin booed when PSM Kalinda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aam Handoko didn't get a good kick on the ball. PS Setagin's Aan Muntu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save PS Setagin from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamka Habib to make the kick off. Sonny Sudradjat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamka Habib, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Aries Andeas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aan Muntu having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Hamka Habib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PS Setagin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamka Habib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Abdi Effendy came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the PS Setagin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdi Effendy couldn't finish the play. Hamka Habib was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. PS Setagin's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rhenald Napitupulu's late challenge caught a PSM Kalinda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rhenald Napitupulu helped the player get up and apologised. PSM Kalinda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Hamka Habib scored to the left of an out of position Sonny Sudradjat, making the score, 0-1. In the 76th minute Adityo Irwansyah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aan Muntu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aan Muntu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aries Andeas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 83 minutes, Hamka Habib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PS Setagin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamka Habib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aan Muntu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aries Andeas's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Aries Andeas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Aan Muntu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes PS Setagin got a freekick which was hit by Rhenald Napitupulu. The audience was convinced that Aries Andeas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aan Muntu was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Abdi Effendy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The PS Setagin players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
