The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 5 minutes on the clock, Yayan Bramantio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in PSB Semplak fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Djenar. Djaduk Ramdhani stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hamdani Sugiarto. 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match Djaduk Ramdhani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamdani Sugiarto skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Sephtianda in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamdani Sugiarto saved PSB Semplak from getting behind. Bima Raturandang charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bima Raturandang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Djenar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bima Raturandang to maneuver through the defense. Hamdani Sugiarto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Sephtianda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Rayana Sitorus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Djenar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSB Semplak the free kick. In the 24th minute, one of Djenar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Djenar. Hendratmo Wicaksono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Yudha Hutagaol made a huge save. If Porman Wiriadipura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Djenar's goalkeeper Yudha Hutagaol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Porman Wiriadipura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mario Sephtianda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdani Sugiarto having to interfere. Porman Wiriadipura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, Djenar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zein Pulalo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Djenar's zone, Porman Wiriadipura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yudha Hutagaol came out of the goal and Porman Wiriadipura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boni Husodo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Djenar's Mario Sephtianda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hamdani Sugiarto. That made the score 1-2 after 73 minutes of play. Mario Sephtianda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hamdani Sugiarto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Djenar's Boni Husodo landed with the leg in an unnatural angle after a tough challenge. The leg was fractured. A collision led to PSB Semplak getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tukul Pitono hit a great ball. Porman Wiriadipura charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Porman Wiriadipura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 95 minutes, Mario Sephtianda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djenar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Sephtianda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Djenar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
