In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Putjangan's goalkeeper Honestra Kartiwa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bertha Zayyinulhak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alwi Siagian having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Tirtamaja's goalkeeper Alwi Siagian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimmy Sangaji. Husein Yom hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Alwi Siagian was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rebiyana Kalabessi. In the 23rd minute, Widhie Bachtiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tirtamaja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Honestra Kartiwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sunar Batola in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Putjangan's goal looked a bit too open when Widhie Bachtiar came free, but Honestra Kartiwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tirtamaja booed when Putjangan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niki Suartama didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertha Irianto in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honestra Kartiwa saved Putjangan from getting behind. After 36 played minutes Tirtamaja got a freekick which was hit by Sunar Batola. Honestra Kartiwa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertha Irianto in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Putjangan got a freekick which was hit by Ikhsan Alexander. When Tirtamaja's Widhie Bachtiar in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Putjangan's goalie prevented a goal. If Bertha Irianto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tirtamaja's Widhie Bachtiar in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tirtamaja's Alwi Siagian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertha Zayyinulhak in the 64th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Tirtamaja's goal looked a bit too open when Bertha Zayyinulhak came free, but Alwi Siagian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmy Sangaji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Widhie Bachtiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honestra Kartiwa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Widhie Bachtiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Honestra Kartiwa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bertha Irianto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rebiyana Kalabessi charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rebiyana Kalabessi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Honestra Kartiwa went to the wrong direction when Tanji Subiyakto was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Widhie Bachtiar got free with Honestra Kartiwa in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tirtamaja had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
