Fanaha FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rambakan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djati Renata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute Duta Baso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martinus Pattimura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rambakan's Martinus Pattimura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duta Baso in the 43rd minute of play. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Duta Baso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rambakan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
