An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Korkut Savaş in the 11th minute of play forced LIMO FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Massimo Margiotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Péter Gulácsi was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Awa Tendean capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Awa Tendean really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Sleman Old Boys's Péter Gulácsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acep Handoko in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to LIMO FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Muchlas Lunggana hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, LIMO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Korkut Savaş came free, but Reynaldo Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muchlas Lunggana kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Noce Rangkuti hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ahmet Korkut Savaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Massimo Margiotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sleman Old Boys's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Awa Tendean was slow to take the kick. During this time LIMO FC's players had a chance to rest. LIMO FC's Awa Tendean was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Péter Gulácsi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Awa Tendean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes LIMO FC got a freekick which was hit by Farhat Sutanto. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Korkut Savaş was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Acep Handoko in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Péter Gulácsi saved Sleman Old Boys from getting behind. The supporters of LIMO FC booed when Sleman Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Massimo Margiotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Péter Gulácsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acep Handoko in the 60th minute of play. Acep Handoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Gulácsi having to interfere. After some careless play in the LIMO FC defense, Ahmet Korkut Savaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Maia. The LIMO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Maia should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo Maia made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ahmet Korkut Savaş sent off a good shot on target. Muchlas Lunggana kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Sleman Old Boys's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
