The supporters of Real Mollucas booed when LIMO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Husin Mainaky didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Mollucas's Bono Suparmaji got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Sugiono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ichwan Dinanto in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Real Mollucas getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Handoko Sutarya hit a great ball. Muchlas Lunggana's late challenge caught a Real Mollucas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Muchlas Lunggana helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LIMO FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Muchlas Lunggana hit a great ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ichwan Dinanto was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Awa Tendean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Sugiono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bono Suparmaji in the 53rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, LIMO FC's Mario Sugiono threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Awa Tendean, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 64th minute, Legimin Siswanto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, LIMO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Sahuleka came free, but Reynaldo Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match Real Mollucas got a corner. LIMO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bono Suparmaji ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Real Mollucas's Bono Suparmaji to fire away a dangerous shot which Reynaldo Maia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ichwan Dinanto got free with Mario Sugiono in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jayeng Malaiholo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Reynaldo Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Mollucas. Mario Sugiono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Legimin Siswanto, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to LIMO FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Muchlas Lunggana hit a great ball.
