Phạm Phuong hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Hoa Binh's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Khoi came free, but Lê Tuan Hoang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Hai Phong's corner Phạm Phuong fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lê Tuan Hoang quite easily take care of the ball. Nguyễn Tuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Nguyễn Tinh made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hai Phong had won after a very even match.
