Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bắc Ninh's Nguyễn Van Quyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hồ Thai in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Bắc Ninh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huỳnh Anh Hung to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Lê Than got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tam Ky's Tôn Lan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Ritchell in the 17th minute of play. Huỳnh Anh Hung kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Huỳnh Anh Hung got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nguyễn Ritchell was the one to do the kick off. Triệu Hoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tôn Lan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lý Nghiêm-Minh's late challenge caught a Tam Ky's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lý Nghiêm-Minh helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Bắc Ninh got a freekick which was hit by Lý Nghiêm-Minh. Lê Than recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Bắc Ninh's Nguyễn Ritchell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tôn Lan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Bắc Ninh's goal looked a bit too open when Hồ Thai came free, but Nguyễn Van Quyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Ritchell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Tôn Lan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Lê Than came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Tam Ky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lê Than couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the game, Hồ Thai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nguyễn Van Quyen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lê Than might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nguyễn Van Quyen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lê Than ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Nguyễn Ritchell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tam Ky's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
