After having played for 3 minutes, Dương Thanh Bình managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuyen Quang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dương Thanh Bình was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tuyen Quang booed when Than Quang Ninh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vũ Hoai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Nhật Minh kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Huỳnh Anh Hung didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tuyen Quang's Dương Thanh Bình shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Nguyễn Hoang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Tu in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Than Quang Ninh FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Vũ Hoai hit a great ball. When Văn Chuong came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Than Quang Ninh FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Văn Chuong couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Cong Vinh in the 89th minute of play forced Than Quang Ninh FC's goalkeeper Huỳnh Anh Hung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
