Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, one of KingofKings:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Võ Thuy in the 12th minute of play forced Pleiku's goalkeeper Bùi Lien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lý Thuyet in the 13th minute of play forced Pleiku's goalkeeper Bùi Lien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Võ Thuy notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pleiku's Bùi Lien. Bùi Lien was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Võ Thuy took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bùi Lien. Bùi Lien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Nguyễn Liem kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Đặng Cong Vinh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Võ Thuy in the 32nd minute of play forced Pleiku's goalkeeper Bùi Lien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Lê Binh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pleiku's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Binh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Trần Cong Vinh managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Pleiku's Lê Binh fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 36 minutes into the match, Võ Thuy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bùi Lien. Pleiku's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Võ Thuy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Võ Thi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Trần Cong Vinh came out and tried to block the shot, but Võ Thi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 40th minute. Bùi Lien came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by KingofKings's Võ Thuy. But to his dismay, Võ Thuy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Võ Thuy to make the kick off. Phạm Viet hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pleiku booed when KingofKings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Duc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Võ Thi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Cong Vinh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Lê Binh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pleiku's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lê Binh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pleiku's Võ Thi got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trần Cong Vinh came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Pleiku's Võ Thi. But to his dismay, Võ Thi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. 82 minutes into the match, Pleiku's goalkeeper Bùi Lien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lý Thuyet. Đặng Cong Vinh struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Trần Cong Vinh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pleiku. If Võ Thi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Pleiku's goalkeeper Bùi Lien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Duc. In the 88th minute, Đặng Cong Vinh made a precise shot to the right of Trần Cong Vinh. KingofKings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. Bùi Lien made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Lý Thuyet sent off a good shot on target. Pleiku's Bùi Lien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lý Thuyet in the 93rd minute of play. If Võ Thi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
