The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hoàng Tho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. akjdhjkasdhjkas's Hoàng Tho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huỳnh Diem in the 9th minute of play. Bắc Giang's Lê Lien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Bắc Giang from getting a goal against them. Phan Phong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Lien having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Nguyễn Binh made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. akjdhjkasdhjkas's Hoàng Tho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nguyễn Lien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lê Lien read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Lê Lien was a little too slow when Phan Phong got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 27th minute, akjdhjkasdhjkas's Phan Phong ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lê Lien. Lê Lien yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Huỳnh Diem in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hoàng Tho saved akjdhjkasdhjkas from getting behind. Phan Phong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Lien having to interfere. The supporters of akjdhjkasdhjkas booed when Bắc Giang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hoàng Pham didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, akjdhjkasdhjkas's Phan Phong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lê Lien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nguyễn Lien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

akjdhjkasdhjkas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hoàng Xuan in the 57th minute. A nice corner shot did that Hoàng Xuan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lê Lien quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lê Lien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phan Phong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hoàng Tho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huỳnh Diem, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Nguyễn Binh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hoàng Tho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Nguyễn Liem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the akjdhjkasdhjkas and the Bắc Giang players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bắc Giang booed when akjdhjkasdhjkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Liem didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bắc Giang fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Bắc Giang's Nguyễn Binh looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hoàng Tho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huỳnh Diem in the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Huỳnh Diem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bắc Giang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Huỳnh Diem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 played minutes akjdhjkasdhjkas got a freekick which was hit by Trần Dinh. Nguyễn Binh struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hoàng Tho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bắc Giang. Nguyễn Binh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hoàng Tho having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bắc Giang had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
