Trần Hoang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Liem in the 2nd minute of the match. After 3 played minutes Tan An got a freekick which was hit by Huỳnh Tuan Hoang. In the 6th minute Trần Liem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Hoang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trần Than was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Trần Liem scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trần Hoang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Trần Liem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Liem in the 20th minute of play forced Tan An's goalkeeper Trần Hoang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trần Hoang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Đinh Van Tai Em, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Đỗ Khoi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tan An getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Đỗ Khoi hit a great ball. Trần Hoang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Liem in the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Tan An's Nguyễn Cong Vinh broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trần Liem to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tan An! Tan An:s Trần Hoang showed great skill when he stopped Nguyễn Cadeo:s penalty. Đinh Van Tai Em might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trần Hoang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Đinh Van Tai Em ran back to his position shaking his head. Võ Cong Vinh kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Tan An's goalkeeper Trần Hoang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Đinh Van Tai Em. Đinh Van Tai Em struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Trần Hoang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gia Nghia. Trần Hoang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Đinh Van Tai Em in the 73rd minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Trần Liem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gia Nghia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trần Liem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trần Liem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trần Hoang was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Trần Liem showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 86 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Trần Liem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tan An's Trần Hoang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Liem in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Tan An's goalkeeper Trần Hoang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Đinh Van Tai Em. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Phạm Duy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tan An supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gia Nghia's performance. The match ended with a win for Gia Nghia.
