Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lê Hong Minh started the match with the kick off. Văn Bien's late challenge caught a TsDC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Văn Bien helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Binh Phuoc got a freekick which was hit by Văn Bien. Nguyễn Xuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huỳnh Anh Hung having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, TsDC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vương Cadeo to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Xuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huỳnh Anh Hung having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, TsDC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Võ Ho to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Mai Thanh Bình managed to get in a good position for a shot. Binh Phuoc's supporters rose to their feet, but Mai Thanh Bình was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huỳnh Anh Hung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of TsDC booed when Binh Phuoc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bùi Quang didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Binh Phuoc's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Hong Minh came free, but La Loc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lê Hong Minh in the 27th minute of play forced Binh Phuoc's goalkeeper La Loc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of TsDC booed when Binh Phuoc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bùi Quang didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vũ Thai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vũ Thai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but La Loc made a huge save. In the 34th minute Lê Hong Minh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but La Loc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Binh Phuoc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Nam to maneuver through the defense. With his leg La Loc managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when TsDC's Vũ Thai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Nguyễn Xuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Loc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Hong Minh in the 42nd minute of the match. TsDC's Lê Hong Minh got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Nguyễn Xuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Huỳnh Anh Hung made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Mai Thanh Bình sent off a good shot on target. Nguyễn Xuan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Huỳnh Anh Hung 66 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Xuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, TsDC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nguyễn Xuan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Huỳnh Anh Hung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Xuan in the 79th minute of the match. Huỳnh Anh Hung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Xuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Mai Thanh Bình could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Huỳnh Anh Hung made a huge save. Nguyễn Xuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Huỳnh Anh Hung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vũ Thai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Lê Hong Minh put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of La Loc. Mai Thanh Bình sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in TsDC's zone, Nguyễn Xuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Huỳnh Anh Hung came out of the goal and Nguyễn Xuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mai Thanh Bình could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Huỳnh Anh Hung made a huge save.
